Paris has two main airports, Paris Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG) and Paris Orly (ORY) situated more or less on the same distance from Paris. In general, intercontinental flights land to Charles de Gaulle whilst Orly is principally used for domestic flights and flights from /to southern Europe.
